Read Across America Week is a very anticipated, and very fun, event nationwide.  Students throughout the country learn about books and the importance of reading. To celebrate it, the second graders of Buffalo Island Central traveled to Monette Manor to read to the residents.  It was an incredible experience for everyone involved, students and seniors alike. Mrs. Sherri Williams, second grade teacher, said: “The students and seniors always enjoy each other every time we visit.”
