Senior Sophi McFall and Freshman Allisson Contreras won the honor of Senior High and Jr. High Homecoming Queen on November 21st at the annual event held in our Mustang Athletic Complex. The staff here at Hoof Prints had the pleasure of catching up with them to interview both ladies about their big night.
Q:What was your reaction when they announced your name for winning Queen?
Allisson: “I felt very grateful since it was my first year being a part of the homecoming court.”
Sophi: “I was very excited but also a bit nervous, and I did not expect it at all.”
Q:How was your experience finding the perfect dress?
Allisson: “It was the first dress I tried on and I immediately knew it was the one.”
Sophi: “It took me a while cause I’m a little picky, and I went to a few different stores and then I found my favorite one.”
Q:What was it like walking with your escort?
Allisson: “I really enjoyed being able to experience walking with my favorite person, Caleb Petznick. I couldn’t have chosen anyone better.”
Sophi: “I was excited because I was walking with Jansen Hawkins, and we are both really good friends.”
Q:How do you feel knowing that your peers voted for you?
Allisson: “I feel very honored that they chose me to be their queen.”
Sophi: “I’m very grateful to have the opportunity to be homecoming queen, and it means so much to me that my peers picked me.”
Q: What was your favorite memory from the night?
Allisson: “My favorite memory is being able to be surrounded by people I love.”
Sophi: “My favorite memory was me and Adelyn waiting for one of our names to be called.”
