Last week was another important game week of the Mustang season.  The girls came into the week with a record of 4-3. This has meant they had won one more than half their games. On Thursday, Nov. 19, the girls played a home game against Armorel. Throughout the game, the Lady Mustangs kept a steady lead. The end result was 70-47 in their favor. Brittany Fowler was the leader of the team with a score of 20.  Following Fowler was Holly Dempsey with a score of 17. They started off the week with a record of 2-6 meaning they had won one third of their games. On Tuesday, Nov. 17, they played against Westside. The Mustangs couldn’t pull off this win. They lost with a score of 46-77. The lead scorer of the game was Daniel Davis with a total of nine points.  en Cole, Heath Hawkins and Adrian Mondragon followed with scores of seven, six and six.

Their next game was on Friday, Nov. 20. This game was the only game that the Mustangs will play in the Leachville gym for this season. They played Ridgefield Christian Academy during the junior high homecoming. With the home court advantage and the extra support from homecoming spectators, the Mustangs came out with a win. The game may have been close, but the final score was 60-53. Almost half of this score was gained by a single player.  Daniel Davis scored a total of 27 points out of the final score of 60. He had made nine two-point shots, two three-point shots and three free throws. Ben Cole was the only other player of the team who scored double digits. He made a total of 12 points.
