“I play Cherry in the upcoming play, ‘The Outsiders.’  When it comes to having the lead female role, I think that it is a good opportunity to put myself out there and express myself.  Being in drama for the past couple of years has let me grow and branch out with the people around me. I get to make new friends and I’m thrilled to take on a bigger, more challenging role than I have ever had before.  When you’re on the stage, it is the feeling of being free; I get to be someone else for awhile and live life through their perspective.
