“I was in gymnastics for about 10 years. The most difficult thing about it is the balancing of my schedule and taking time out of my life. I went to the gym for about 6-10 hours a week. I stayed in paragould until 8 o’clock at night, had to drive home and had homework to do on top of that. The easiest and best thing about gymnastics is getting to escape school. I would always look forward to leaving school early to go to gymnastics. For the time I’ve been in gymnastics I’ve qualified for state 3 years in a row, qualified in regionals and competed in Colorado. Those were my biggest achievements. My favorite thing to do is the bars and the beam. I miss being in gymnastics and working out all the time, but I still have cheer.”
