Rebecca Stefl is a Buffalo Island Central Senior and in her first year of journalism. She likes journalism because it lets her express herself, and allows her to be creative through writing and photography.

Rebecca spends most of her time in this course working on  improving as a writer, but she also likes to take pictures and design yearbook pages. She’s a very creative and dedicated member of the staff and always enjoys her work.

“Journalism has been a lot of fun. It lets me be me, and I get to express myself in ways that I usually can’t,” said Stefl.

Outside of school, she enjoys making art, listening to music, working, and hanging out with her friends. After graduating, she plans to go to college to become a forensic pathologist. She also hopes to travel around Europe someday.
