The BIC senior cheerleaders spent the week before Thanksgiving break in Disney World, participating in the Varsity Spirit Spectacular.  The event lasted from November 20th to November 24th.

Mrs. Julie Reeves, who accompanied the cheerleaders, explains the adventure, saying, “The senior cheerleaders participated in the Varsity Spirit Spectacular in Disney World the week before Thanksgiving.  They got to march in a parade in Magic Kingdom. It was a great opportunity for the girls to represent our school!”

After the trip, our cheerleaders returned with newfound spirit and memories, as well as pride in representing their alma mater.  Senior Olivia Cornish had nothing but good remarks about the event.

“I enjoyed spending time with my friends and cheering in the parade was super exciting,” said Cornish.  “It was overall a fun time and I wish we could have stayed longer.”

The BIC news staff is deeply proud of our cheer team.  We congratulate them on such an important opportunity and hope for more unique trips in the future.
