Mrs. Jennifer Roach is a new addition to the highschool BIC faculty family, joining the school this 2024-2025 school year. Her previous career experience includes being an instruction aid at the BIC elementary school, which has helped prepare her for her role as a teacher. She specializes in being an English resource teacher. She says she loved her past job as a teaching aid and she loves her new job here at the highschool. Teaching has always been her passion, but with one of her close friends having special needs, she found her calling in being a resource teacher.
She wants to make an impact at our school, nurturing students to grow and be successful after they complete their high school education. We can only hope many students follow in the footsteps and examples previous teachers, like Mrs. Roach, have left for them to follow. Paving the way for both students and teachers, to be more patient and impactful. Following Mrs. Roach’s example ensures passion and care for the students that pass through BIC’s hallways.
She thinks that helping students who struggle in certain subjects is the key to let students become stronger in said subjects. For example, students need time and attention to flourish so Mrs. Roach gives extra time and care for students who need extra help. This helps students feel more comfortable with certain subjects and lets them be more open to learning.
