“I’ve taught at different times – I haven’t taught all of my life. I taught two years when I got out of college, then I taught three more years about the middle of my career, and then nine years at the end of my career. I’ve taught at Dixon, Missouri; Houston, Texas; and Mountain Home, Arkansas. I’ve taught at several places, and BIC is by far my favorite place to teach. I like the kids, I like the other teachers, administrations; This is the best place for me to teach. I retired because my children and grandchildren all live in Mountain Home, I wanted to spend some time for my grandchildren before they grew up. I had an eighth grade math teacher who sort of set me straight. He was always my hero and he was my math teacher so he was my inspiration.”
