“I started playing basketball when I was around the age of four.  I played on a team called “Upward,” which was a church basketball team, for three to four years. I was working my way up to play for the school. I’ve always loved playing sports and I have always been an athletic person. All my life I have enjoyed watching basketball, and watching others play encouraged me to play. I have made many new friends through my years of playing basketball. It has also lead me to have good sportsmanship and it has showed me how to work with a team. Basketball has also taught me  to have a positive attitude, even when you mess up.  As long as you try your hardest, you will push through.”
