“I have been cheering since I was in the fourth grade. My favorite part about cheer is the stunting. I had my nose broken last year by a flier’s elbow. I felt very disappointed, but it didn’t hurt at all. I didn’t even feel it. I never considered quitting. This year my goal as captain with Samantha Gipson is to try to keep everybody together as a group and help everybody get along and work as a team. My hope for this year is for us to get better stunts and tumbling. We are a lot closer on and off the court as a whole.”
