“Our theater is full of some passionate and hardworking people. I’m so proud to be a part of such a talented group of people. My favorite role would obviously have to be Anne of Green Gables. Not just because she was the main character of that show, but she was just a very fun and dramatic person to portray, even with the difficulties that came with the role. She was a very bubbly and energetic character. She talked a lot and very fast. Memorizing 290 lines, most of them very long and spoken at a very overwhelming speed, was difficult at first, but eventually became easier. The hardest part of the role was the very quick costume changes which proved to be very stressful, but entirely worth it.
I always knew I’d participate in theater. I’ve been involved in different performances since I was in third grade. Even doing a small play for our elementary class instantly had me hooked on theater. All the times I remember laughing and having fun with the members of theater will always hold a special place in my heart.”
