Karla Marroquin faced her fear of receiving the H1N1 vaccine. Before taking her turn, she was already feeling the pain. Dr. Kima Stewart provided comfort for Marroquin and others who were nervous about the shots. On Wednesday, Nov. 4, 45 seasonal flu vaccine injections were given along with 40 H1N1 injections. Several students did not receive the H1N1 vaccination because the supply ran out. The Health Department returns today to finish administering H1N1 shots to those who were unable to get one last week.
