The 3-on-3 Tournament, hosted by BIC FBLA, was easily the most exciting event of the weekend.  On Saturday, March 2, several students participated in the tournament to raise money for the FBLA trip to the State Conference in Little Rock.

With 18 teams participating, the day began with pool play and the bracket play began in the afternoon. The winners of each division are as follows:  Krystyn Hawkins, Lexi Riley, and Haley Milligan in the Girls division; Kell Gathright, Silas White, and Leonardo Contreras in the Elementary division; Caden Whitehead and Luis Reta in the Junior high division; Noah Teeter and MJ Barnes in the High School division.

FBLA sponsor, Mrs. Wendy Stewart, organized the tournament.  “It was a fun day of basketball.  We had a lot of BIC players, and we had a lot of players from surrounding schools.  It was good to see everyone playing together and having a good time. It may have to turn into an annual event. ”  said Stewart.

The tournament raised over $1400 for the organization and was considered a successful event.
