Last week Dallas Smith came to school with a caged bobcat in his truck. Here’s what he had to say about how he came to possess the animal.

“I went out to the woods to clear a trail for a new tree stand I was putting up, and it was in the log when I was cutting it. When I was cutting through the log, I didn’t know it was in there, so I ended up accidentally cutting it. The Game and Fish came and got it, and they took it to the vet.”
